We are a highly rated modern Western restaurant with unique and extremely tasty dishes and carefully selected beverages.

We put in ridiculous amounts of effort to prepare our food (mushrooms and onions caramelised over 3 hours for our soups and sauces!). Our focus is on slightly unusual recipes that still retain a level of comfortable familiarity.

When you dine with us, you will enjoy food that is not restricted by cuisine styles, tradition, dogmas or even ingredients. Yet, you will find that the flavours and textures come together sensibly and hopefully, deliciously.

Our best a la carte dish is the no sauce Break-Up Steak ($42.90) which neither aged or is wagyu but is even more tasty and as tender and juicy. Our top pre-order dish is the Margaret River Wagyu Marbling Grade 4-5 Tomahawk ($189/kg) that is brined for 7 days with a drinkable sauce.

Other notable dishes are our Green Curry Osso Buco, made with lots of green chilli padis for a knockout spicy punch, 100 Day Grain Fed Augustus Beef and paired with a scrumptious Japanese Coriander Rice in Beef Stock; we are also probably the only restaurant that is foolish enough to pair Chinese Salted Fish and Honeycomb with Burratina instead of the perennial pairings of cured meats and veggies; our Salmon Cabonara though unforgivably contains cream is still light and tasty without the cheese and bacon and the salmon itself has been compared with Michellin-starred restaurants.

GENERAL T&C

  • We reserve the right to alter any or part of the package details before full payment is made
  • Benefits are transferable but cannot be combined with any other benefits
  • Not valid for PH, eve of PH, special occasions (Valentines, Mother’s/Father’s Day etc)
  • 4 hours max per event for corporate packages
  • Minimum spend refers to the booking for the entire restaurant’s indoors only
  • For Corporate Bookings:
    • We reserve the right to serve other customers in the alfresco area
    • Maximum pax at all times is 60
    • Minimum spend per person at all times is $50
    • Minimum spend per event is $2,000 for weekday lunches and $3,000 for week day dinners
    • Minimum spend per event is $3,000 for weekend lunches and $4,000 for weekend dinners
  • All packages to be paid via bank transfer to 355-310-091-5 J Food Concepts Pte Ltd, UOB Current Account
  • All benefits require a reservation and administration via restaurant’s platforms
  • The professional karaoke system is provided FOC but is subject to it’s proper functioning.
  • All reasonable care will be taken to ensure that it’s in good working order for the event, however, in unexpected situations like power outage, internet outage or any other unexpected event, no compensation will be made if it is rendered inoperable
  • Package value will be based on the prevailing menu items and related prices
  • Package value is nett and inclusive of prevailing and any applicable ancillary charges eg Service Charge, GST
  • Package value is not usable with any other offers by the restaurant
  • We reserve the right to cancel any unconsumed portion of any package with a $100 administration charge

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

  • All packages paid for are non-refundable
  • Any change or cancellation in event date will be subject to the following refund policy:
  1. 2 calendars months before the event: 100% reinstatement of pre-ordered items or minimum spend, whichever is lower
  2. 1 calendar month before the event: 50% reinstatement of pre-ordered items or minimum spend, whichever is lower
  3. Anything else, no reinstatement i.e. pre-ordered items or minimum spend is considered consumed.  

This is because, we plan staffing up to one month or more ahead (for annual leave etc) and some special dishes require an indent order and long preparation e.g. aged beef.
